Young Choreographers Forum SF

Mark Foehringer Dance Project|SF (MFDP|SF) holds an annual mentoring program in two session for choreographers ages 16-26.

Now in its 14th season, season,Young Choreographers Forum SF/SJ has mentored over 80 young dancemakers. A panel of professionals in the field of choreography join Foehringer each session to provide feedback on the work each participant is creating.

Brian Fisher – Long time associate artist of MFDP|SF; Current dance artist with Sean Dorsey Dance; Former dancer of ODC Dance SF, Currently teaching for ODC Dance SF Youth Program, San Francisco Ballet School and Mark Foehringer’s Conservatory for Contemporary Dance Arts (CCDA)

Lizz Roman – Artistic Director of Lizz Roman and Dancers; teacher of Contact Improv in the bay area.

Diane Frank – Formerly with Merce Cunningham Dance Company and School; Currently Faculty member of Stanford University.

Kara Davis – Artistic Director of agora project: faculty of Mills College and Lines Ballet School

Session One – San Francisco Dance Center from noon to 3 pm

Session Two – Joe Goode Annex from noon to 3 pm
