Emerging Choreographers Forum SF

Mark Foehringer Dance Project|SF (MFDP|SF) holds an annual mentoring program in two session for choreographers ages 16-26.

Emerging Choreographers Forum SF has mentored over 140 young dancemakers. A panel of professionals in the field of choreography join Foehringer each session to provide feedback on the work each participant is creating.

BRIAN FISHER – Long time associate artist of MFDP|SF; Former dance artist with Sean Dorsey Dance and ODC Dance SF, Former teacher for ODC Dance SF Youth Program, San Francisco Ballet School, and Mark Foehringer’s Conservatory for Contemporary Dance Arts (CCDA)

LIZZ ROMAN – Artistic Director of Lizz Roman and Dancers; Teacher of Contact Improv in the Bay Area.

DIANE FRANK – Formerly with Merce Cunningham Dance Company and School; Current Faculty member of Stanford University.
